ZK Hub took place in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 10-11, 2024, bringing together a multitude of ZK-focused events under one roof. Designed as a lead-up to DevCon, this two-day event united key figures and projects, encouraging collaboration and exploring the latest industry developments.
The Main stage featured a comprehensive lineup, consisting of a variety of talks, panels and interviews with thought-leaders such as Jordi Baylina (Polygon), Brandon Kase (o1 Labs), Ming Guo (ZKM), Elias Tazartes (Kakarot), Uma Roy (Succinct Labs), Leo Fan (Cysic), Adam Gagol (Aleph Zero) and Brett Carter (Risc Zero). The panels covered a variety of pressing topics including optimizing proving infrastructure, zkVM architecture, benchmarking standards, and overarching visions for the evolution of ZK and blockchain.
Beyond the main stage, ZK Hub offered a multi-dimensional experience with specialized areas for deeper engagement. A dedicated technical workshop room featured speakers from Aztec, StarkWare, Taiko, GOAT Network, Aleo and other notable projects, offering attendees a more technical, hands-on experience.
The hub also saw individual events hosted by influential projects like Risc Zero, Aleo, ZKM, Cysic, o1 Labs, Kakarot, ZK Hack, Snarkify, ZK Work, StorSwift, zkMonk, Berkeley RDI, and the Whitepaper Reading Club. These spaces allowed each organization to present their recent progress and host unique sessions, with the diversity of content ensuring a holistic experience that catered to a wide range of expertise levels.
A special highlight of the event was the ‘House of ZK Radio’ podcast room, where live sessions were conducted with guests such as Ismael Hishon-Rezaizadeh from Lagrange, Orkun Kilic from Citrea, and Michael from Brevis, among several others. As a continuation of the Virtual podcast series, these sessions provided an informal yet insightful view into the development of the most cutting-edge projects and the vision of their founders, in a bid to contribute to a richer understanding of where we are as an industry and explore the overall community dynamics.
ZK Hub was co-organized with the teams from Aleo and ZKM, and we also extend our warmest thanks to our main stage hosts - Annee Park and Isreal Hosana - as well as Iryna Chekhova, Rukshana Hassanali and Ben Wynn for ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the event.
